Make it great the 1st time. It all starts with a good frame.
Looking for a new piece of furniture to fit brighten your house, or wanting to give a beloved piece a new lease of life?
Follow our steps below, to consider the details of your design for a chair or sofa.
Step 1: Frame
Take a minute to consider the shape or style. Feel free to use an online picture, or a drawing. It is good practise to have the foot, or leg of your item picked out at the start.
Step 2: Size
This is where your rooming setting will play its part in the process. If you are wanting to commission a bespoke piece, this can be made to cater to your needs and can be altered to suit. Note doorways and hall access will need to allow for this.
Step 3: Fabric
Pick out your colour scheme, or have an idea of what your base colour will be. You can the choose from a wide range of fabrics, to dress your chair or sofa.
Step 4: Comfort
This part is about picking the correct foam and filler in your cushions. Please keep in mind that foam will soften over time, with use.
Step 5: Price
Consider your budget for your piece. As you are dealing directly with the manufacturer, you will find the price is keen and the over all build time short. For example, your design could be an estimated £3000 with a build time of 3 weeks, from the time of deposit.
